Car Boot Sale Reviews

  1. david Says:

fantastic car boot gets a bit lousy come sept but rest of the year best in east!!!

  2. Sylvia Whitwell Says:

We come to Yarmouth about 7 times a year for the week-end and we always come to car boot. We are comeing again March 16th and will be comeing again. We have been to many different car boots but find the site very easy to park and to access toilets and food and drink. There is always whaat we call ordinary people doing car boots we know regulars make a living but we prefer to look at ordinary people who are trying to make a bit of extra cash. We have never come away without purchasing something and had a thoroughly good morning as well. Keep doing the boots they are fabulous!!!!!!!!

  3. T A Rumball Says:

really good car-boot, but the ‘disabled ‘ parking places should be controlled for those with ‘blue badge’ status

  4. Tarquin Says:

50p to get in what a rip off

  5. Strachan Says:

Since starting to charge carboot has fone down hill an as with above comment disabled parking areas need better managing! Stall holders are great an the boot sale is very livley an you can pick up some great bargins!

  6. Sarah jeats Says:

50p to get in… How greedy.
Oh well, I’m sure they’ll shoot themselves in the foot by charging that and sooner or later the boot sale will fizzle out.
    Serves them right!

  7. KEN STEPTOWE Says:

I AM NOT NOTHING TO DO WITH CAR BOOT SALE BUT I AM HAPPY TO PAY 50p TO GO IN,SOME PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE THAT IT IS THE ZOO THAT HOLDS THE SALE, THE COST I THINK TO RUN THE ZOO COST THOUSANDS TO KEEP UP, FEEDING THE ANIMALS AND UP KEEP IN WINTER, PROBABLY NO VISITORS IN WINTER THE ANIMALS STILL HAS TO BE FED, AND AGAIN UP KEEP, 50p IS NOTHING THESE DAYS AND WHEN YOU BUY ANY THING AT THE BOOT SALE YOU SAVE YOURSELVES A LOT OF MONEY,WITHOUT ZOO’S OUR CHILDREN WILL NOT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WILD LIFE, SO TO THE PERSON WHO BEGRUDGES PAYING SUCH A SMALL FEE TO GET IN THINK ON, WHAT DO OTHERS THINK,

  8. matt Says:

Ive been going to this car boot regularly for years now and ever since the 50p entrance fee was introduced its started to dry up.
I doubt it will be long before its closed or they make it free entry again.
I don’t think 50p is a lot to ask but when people are there for bargains they wont want to be paying anything they don’t need to.

  9. Gem01 Says:

I agree with above comment – whats 50p to help maintain and up keep site and animals etc – most of the workers on site on a sunday are volunteers, so it’s not for their wages ! you have to pay 20/30p to use a toilet in some areas now !!!
Keep on with the car boots – they are great and keep local people like myself making a few extra £’s now and then :-)

  10. S.Portch Says:

Hello , me & my husband have booked a weekend away with our two dogs and fancied checking the car boot out , does anyone know , if dogs are allowed at the car boot sale ?? many thanks

  11. Kessingland Information Website Says:

  12. sue Says:

has the car boot started yet this yr 2013 thanks x

  13. Laura Says:

    50p is nothing, stop moaning!

  14. Megan 467147801 Says:

The money does not go to the animals because the car boot was around before Africa Alive was there but still enjoy enjoy going 50p is nothing these days!

  15. Megan 467147801 Says:

    Going tommorrow

  16. Happy boy Says:

Its great, to all the people who said it would fizzle out are a bit wrong, as the car boot is as strong as ever. Now it’s just a matter of time untill all the other car boots start charging, they will and I bet it won’t. Go to such a good cause as kessingland. The boot is very well run, clean, there are good toilets and food and drink. What more do you want. I love walking around the kessingland car boot.
    Bye

  17. carly Says:

Is there any restrictions on selling cakes at the car boot?

  18. Chloe Punchard Says:

The car boot has nothing to do with the animals at the zoo, the people doing the car boots won’t be impressed when most customers don’t turn up!

  19. Alex Says:

If you’re a seller, can you just turn up on the day or do you have to book?

  20. kelly Says:

Me and friend are thinking of selling cupcakes on sunday car boot sale, can we just set up and sell, or do we need a health and safety certificate? We are 16 and keep everything clean, we are just trying to find a way to make some money easy.

  21. Carl chapham Says:

Great Carboot and worth 50p when busy but hard to push a buggy and wheelchair round due to gravel and very bumpy it’s pretty annoying when trying to get round please can someone do something about it.

  22. Cassie Says:

Can someone please tekk me if car boot is on tomm, Sunday 24th November? And as for 50p entrance fee, that what charged at Banham and worth paying for toilets and a good sized sale x

  23. normal citizen Says:

The people of lowestoft (suffolk) need to get a grip. 50p is nothing to get in its well worth it. Most bootsales charge entrance fee. You get a nice morning out for next to nothing. Suffolk people are so tight it makes you look pathetic.

  24. Nathan Says:

This is by miles the best car boot sale I have ever visited and I always get £5 pocket money every week and we go to the car boot every week and you can be sure to be able to have at least a couple of quid to spare because every one sells things at decent prices.
    Nathan

  25. Veronica Says:

Absolutely one of the best boot sales around. Loads of parking, decent toilets and great shopping. We come here several times every year from Essex. Well worth 50p entrance.

  26. Stuart Says:

I can’t believe that so many people feel the need to whinge about a 50p entrance fee. What a bunch of penny-pinching, whinging tight-arses. They all need to get out a bit more and put their hands in their pockets. How pathetic

  27. Bob C Says:

It’s 50p……..have a long word with your self in a dark corner you tight wad……..I bet xmas is a right laugh at your house….. =)
