We come to Yarmouth about 7 times a year for the week-end and we always come to car boot. We are comeing again March 16th and will be comeing again. We have been to many different car boots but find the site very easy to park and to access toilets and food and drink. There is always whaat we call ordinary people doing car boots we know regulars make a living but we prefer to look at ordinary people who are trying to make a bit of extra cash. We have never come away without purchasing something and had a thoroughly good morning as well. Keep doing the boots they are fabulous!!!!!!!!

really good car-boot, but the ‘disabled ‘ parking places should be controlled for those with ‘blue badge’ status

50p to get in… How greedy.
Oh well, I’m sure they’ll shoot themselves in the foot by charging that and sooner or later the boot sale will fizzle out.
Serves them right!

I AM NOT NOTHING TO DO WITH CAR BOOT SALE BUT I AM HAPPY TO PAY 50p TO GO IN,SOME PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE THAT IT IS THE ZOO THAT HOLDS THE SALE, THE COST I THINK TO RUN THE ZOO COST THOUSANDS TO KEEP UP, FEEDING THE ANIMALS AND UP KEEP IN WINTER, PROBABLY NO VISITORS IN WINTER THE ANIMALS STILL HAS TO BE FED, AND AGAIN UP KEEP, 50p IS NOTHING THESE DAYS AND WHEN YOU BUY ANY THING AT THE BOOT SALE YOU SAVE YOURSELVES A LOT OF MONEY,WITHOUT ZOO’S OUR CHILDREN WILL NOT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WILD LIFE, SO TO THE PERSON WHO BEGRUDGES PAYING SUCH A SMALL FEE TO GET IN THINK ON, WHAT DO OTHERS THINK,

Ive been going to this car boot regularly for years now and ever since the 50p entrance fee was introduced its started to dry up.
I doubt it will be long before its closed or they make it free entry again.
I don’t think 50p is a lot to ask but when people are there for bargains they wont want to be paying anything they don’t need to.

I agree with above comment – whats 50p to help maintain and up keep site and animals etc – most of the workers on site on a sunday are volunteers, so it’s not for their wages ! you have to pay 20/30p to use a toilet in some areas now !!!
Keep on with the car boots – they are great and keep local people like myself making a few extra £’s now and then

Its great, to all the people who said it would fizzle out are a bit wrong, as the car boot is as strong as ever. Now it’s just a matter of time untill all the other car boots start charging, they will and I bet it won’t. Go to such a good cause as kessingland. The boot is very well run, clean, there are good toilets and food and drink. What more do you want. I love walking around the kessingland car boot.
Bye

Is there any restrictions on selling cakes at the car boot?
