A traditional seaside holiday is always a great idea for Britain’s summer season. Towns like Kessingland attract are brilliant coastal resorts, with it’s beautiful coastline, restaurants and places to stay.

Yet nearby Westhall, will have a slightly more exotic holiday in the Suffolk countryside. Local couple Nick and Kim Hoare are ready to open the doors to their new project tomorrow at Ivy Grange Farm, after two years in the making.
Their idea is the Yurt, a traditional Mongolian, semi permanent tent structure. Usually with a camping holiday, you feel a bit closer to the outdoors and this luxury experience will be no different.
The couple are offering an experience you won’t forget. The tents are fully solar powered and guests are invited to pick their own food, in the resorts vegetable and fruit patches. The summer season is great for potatoes, rocket courgettes and tomatoes, as well as the classic summer strawberry.
Mrs Hoare told the Beccles and Bungay Journal, “We wanted to do something together and do a business which fits in with our ethos. People will be offered the experience of staying in one of the two yurts available; a traditional Mongolian yurt or another dubbed the English one.”
The site has got much more planned for the future too, as Mr Hoare told the journal about the future of the site, “We are hoping to eventually run courses about local industry, bird watching, painting, yoga, to be run by experts for special weekends. People will also be able to borrow bikes eventually.”
The chance to have a slice of Mongolian living near kessingland is something you don’t get every day. Being in the heart of Suffolk will give you the chance to visit everywhere from Kessingland itself to nearby Halesworth and Southwold.
